The last problem we will deal with is today’s society, or as we say, the “do-gooder society”, where the important thing is to look good, not to think or not to think what you say, but to look like you think the same as everyone else and thus not to be criticized. Nobody is brave enough to say what they really think. Today’s society does not think, it is much easier to follow the herd, to follow what everyone says. Even if something is not wrong, they think, if everyone says it, it will be wrong.
The same goes for following the media. In order for you to understand what we want to communicate we will give you three examples:
First of all, in Navarra there are two major newspapers which are the diario de navarra and the diario de noticias. Recently they published the same news in both newspapers, one of which is right-wing and the other one is left-wing. The same news item looks exactly like a different news item, and you compare them and you see the same news item, with the same photograph and the same event, but the way of approaching it, the explanation and the reason for the possible outcome is very different. So, this is where we can clearly see that the only objective of the media is to manipulate us, to make us understand things as they want, and, in addition, they tell us what they want.
Secondly, if I were the owner of the media in a country, for example in Argentina, if I wanted to eliminate the Dogo Argentino breed, I would start to generate harmful news about it. I would publish news about a Dogo Argentino killing a child in Montevideo, various aggressions… and I would invent statistics that in the last 10 years there have been so many cases of aggressions by this breed. And, surely, if someone was thinking of buying a Dogo Argentino to protect his home, he would no longer do it only because of the media.
Thirdly, let’s take the example of the WHO. The biggest investor in the WHO is Bill Gates, and for this reason, we are not going to go against Bill Gates’ business.
With this, we only intend to respond to people who often tell us that we only read what we want or that we answer what interests us. That is why we have compiled all the questions or statements that are most recurrent.
