1- PRESENTATION, HOW ARE YOU? HOW DO YOU KNOW CANE CORSO?
Hello, I introduce myself to Andrea Fournier, from the Ailentari hatchery, located in the south of France, near Toulouse.
I met Cane Corso with my first Vega dog registered as a 14 year old boy.
A love with an exceptional character like that of a cane of corso.
De Vega was born Capri from a line that includes renowned breeding places such as the Valle dei lord, antico cerberus and the Dyrium.
The lineage with which I continue working today, in addition to the estates degli elmi or della porta dipinta.
I wanted to integrate a new iconic Cane Corsican in this line that is the X-man World Champion.
2- WHY DOES CORSO CHANGE THE RACE IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RACES?
ElCane corso is an elegant mastiff with a big heart.
Impressive in appearance and at the same time sensitive.
What makes it a fusion dog with its masters.
It is strength and softness compatible with a family life surrounded by children.
He is naturally protective, without the need to teach him, he will have the heart to defend his family.
The Cane is an easy dog to work with the condition of being respectful, shows great versatility.
He maintained his genetic make-up skills of his selection for utilitarian tasks.
He maintained a feline agility, quick reflexes and a strong grip.
It is a quiet dog inside and outside active.
Health qualification does not have as much disease to regret as some of its partners.
It has a longevity for a molosso that exceeds ten years.
3- FOR YOU CANE CORSO HAS GOOD HEALTH, WHAT DO WE DO IN THE CORRECT WAY?
5- CANE CORSO IS A HOMOGENEOUS RACE? YES NO, HOW CAN WE RESOLVE?
The Cane Corso is still looking for its homogeneity from my point of view that has not yet been reached.
It is necessary that all breeders work together in respect without judgment but in mutual help.
And that all are transparent about the health or the defects present in their lines, so that the compatibility between two rods chosen in the reproduction is positive.
At the level of the head, I think it is necessary to focus on a good squaring of the nose and a correct direction of the axes before penalizing excessively a tooth that is not perfect.
Our breeding clubs should hold more conferences on improvements.
Exhibitions without classification to appreciate a correct judgment on the qualities and defects of our dogs.
4- WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES, IN CANE CORSO, IN THE LAST YEARS AND IN THE CORO REAL CANE?
The cane corso of the time was lighter and thinner for me, with a slender and athletic appearance, tight and adherent skin and short short hair. Less chops, cranial-facial axes slightly convergent.
Today we must be attentive because we consider that the corso with excessive hypertrophy, chewed, with excess round skull, is a major defect to catch up.
