We are happy today interview with the breeder sara Vie from Cane corso Guardiano da Passione<\/p>\n

I\u2019m Sara Vi\u00e9. My Kennel name is \u201cGuardiano da Passione\u201d. I met the Cane Corso for the first time 1996 at a German Dogshow<\/p>\n

and was very impressed by their attitude and look.<\/p>\n

At this time I owned a Dobermann, but I was always in love for molossid breeds.<\/p>\n

So this was the time I thought about to own a Cane Corso myself one day, but until than it took few more years.<\/p>\n

In 2005 i bought my first Cane Corso, my first litter was born in 2009.<\/p>\n

– WHY THE BREED CANE CORSO IS DIFFERENT TO THE OTHERS BREEDS<\/p>\n

The Cane Corso is unique dog to me. A strong athletic breed with this special strong expression and well balanced in every aspect.<\/p>\n

Even he is very strong and muscular dog, he is never lazy or lethargic, instead full of energy.<\/p>\n

For me not to compare to any other breed.<\/p>\n

– FOR YOU THE BREED , IS GOOD OF SALUT, WE DO BY THE CORRECT WAY ?<\/p>\n

Unfortunately no.<\/p>\n

You see more and more breeders selecting the wrong type and expression.<\/p>\n

Many dogs resemble more to the Bullmastiff or Boxer, than to a Cane Corso.<\/p>\n

If you are new in the breed, you maybe go to a dogshow and see dogs with excessive undershot bite and round heads winning against the competition.<\/p>\n

This gives you the impression, that this must be the right type for our breed.<\/p>\n

This is a big tragedy in my opinion. This isn\u00b4t the Cane Corso, how he should be. Lately I see also more and more dogs with bad construction, round toplines and missing angulations.<\/p>\n

What a sad development! As a new breeder you must probably find your way, but this way must always go back to the true Cane Corso.<\/p>\n

The Cane Corso which i wish for is a complete dog, with typical head, balanced body and strong mind!<\/p>\n

– IS CANE CORSO A HOMOGENEOUS BREED ? IF NOT HOW WE CAN RESOLT ?<\/p>\n

We are far from a homogen breed. If you see 10 Cane Corsi in the same place, you see often 6-7 different breeds.<\/p>\n

Influences from other breeds and bad selection of many breeders made this breed very inhomogen.<\/p>\n

We should start to respect the standard and select the correct dogs for breeding, which fit into the standard.<\/p>\n

Of course every dog has his faults, none is perfect, but they should be a Cane Corso in first place.<\/p>\n

– WHAT IS DIFFERENCES , IN THE CANE CORSO IN THE PASS YEARS AND THE ACTUAL CANE CORSO ?<\/p>\n

I can just speak for the past 13 years. For sure other breeders have a longer view for this.<\/p>\n

But in the last years i see more and more boxertype dogs with excessive undershot bite and the true Cane Corso seems to be a dying breed to me.<\/p>\n

I just hope, that the dedicated breeders don\u00b4t give up their work and the Breed Cane Corso will survive this sad trend.<\/p>\n
